How to Be Really Good at Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is one of those games that's easy to play but hard to master. I remember when I first started playing, I could barely last 30 seconds without crashing into a train. But after a while, I started to pick up on some things that helped me get better. If you want to know how to be really good at Subway Surfers, there are a few key things you need to focus on.
The short answer is to practice, learn the patterns, and upgrade your power-ups. But of course, there's a little more to it than that.
Mastering the Basics
The first thing you need to do is get really good at the basic controls. This means being able to swipe left, right, up, and down without even thinking about it. I used to practice just swiping back and forth as fast as I could to get the muscle memory down. It might sound silly, but it really helps. Once you have the basics down, you can start to focus on more advanced techniques.
Here are some tips to get you started:
- Stay on top of the trains. As much as possible, try to stay on top of the trains. This gives you a better view of the track ahead and makes it easier to avoid obstacles. It took me a while to get used to this, but once I did, my scores improved a lot.
- Look ahead. Don't just focus on what's right in front of you. Try to look as far down the track as you can. This will give you more time to react to upcoming obstacles.
- Learn the patterns. After playing for a while, you'll start to notice that the obstacles come in patterns. If you can learn these patterns, you'll be able to anticipate what's coming next and avoid it.
- Don't be afraid to use your keys. Keys are a lifesaver in Subway Surfers. If you have a good run going, don't be afraid to use a key to continue. I once had a run where I used three keys in a row to keep going. It was worth it because I ended up getting my highest score ever.
Power-Ups are Your Best Friend
Power-ups are essential if you want to get a high score in Subway Surfers. There are a few different power-ups in the game, but the most important ones are the Coin Magnet, the 2X Multiplier, and the Jetpack.
- Coin Magnet: This power-up does exactly what it sounds like: it attracts all the coins to you. This is great for racking up a high score and for getting enough coins to buy upgrades.
- 2X Multiplier: This power-up doubles your score for a limited time. If you can grab one of these, you'll be well on your way to a new high score.
- Jetpack: The Jetpack is my favorite power-up. It shoots you into the air, where you can collect a ton of coins without having to worry about obstacles.
