Supercell had to spend a lot of time and money on anti-fraud teams and support staff just to police Global Chat. They realized these resources could be better used to improve other parts of the game.

• Ineffective for Finding Clans

While some players did find clans through Global Chat, it wasn't the best tool for it. The chat was often filled with spam messages, making it hard for serious players to find good clans or for clan leaders to recruit new members. • Focusing on Core Gameplay

I definitely felt the void after Global Chat was gone. I used to hop on there when my troops were training just to see what kind of funny or strange conversations were happening. Sometimes I'd find players from my own country and we'd share tips, which was cool. After it was removed, it felt a little quieter in the game, and finding new clan members became a bit more of a focused effort through the in-game recruitment tools or even Discord.

Today, players mostly rely on the in-game clan search, official forums, or external social media platforms like Reddit and Discord to find new clans and interact with the wider Clash of Clans community. While many players miss the spontaneous social interaction Global Chat offered, its removal ultimately led to a safer and more manageable game environment.
