The Treasury in Clash of Clans is located within your Clan Castle. It's not a separate building you construct, but rather a special storage area you access by simply tapping on your Clan Castle. This secure spot holds valuable resources earned from Clan Wars, Clan Games, and daily Star Bonuses, keeping them much safer than your regular Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir storages.

Why the Treasury is a Big Deal

Treasury vs. Regular Storages

It's helpful to know the difference between your Treasury and your regular Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir Storages.

• Regular Storages: These hold resources you collect from mines, collectors, and regular multiplayer battles. They are much more vulnerable to enemy attacks, with a higher percentage of resources being stolen based on damage.
• Treasury: This only holds bonus loot from Clan Wars, Clan Games, and Star Bonuses. It's highly protected, making it a "bank" for your most valuable gains.

You can't use resources directly from the Treasury. You need to "collect" them first, which moves them into your regular storages. If your regular storages are already full, any excess resources will stay in the Treasury until you have space. This means you can't lose resources if your storages are too small to hold everything from the Treasury.

It's a good idea to collect from the Treasury only when you're ready to spend the resources. If you have a massive upgrade planned, let the resources sit safely in your Treasury until you have enough, then collect and spend them right away. This strategy helps protect your loot from greedy attackers. I once collected a huge haul from my Treasury thinking I was ready for an upgrade, only to realize I was still a few hundred thousand short. Before I could earn the rest, I got attacked and lost a bunch! From then on, I always double-check my upgrade costs before hitting that "Collect" button.
