When is Blade Coming to Marvel Rivals?

The vampire hunter, Blade, is set to join the growing roster of heroes in Marvel Rivals. Fans of the Daywalker have been eagerly awaiting his arrival, and it's already here. Blade was released in Marvel Rivals on August 8th, as part of the Season 3.5 update.
I remember when they first announced Blade was coming to the game. I was so excited, I immediately started thinking about all the cool things he could do. I even went back and watched all the Blade movies to get hyped up.
Blade's Abilities
Blade is a duelist who excels at close-quarters combat and has a unique lifesteal mechanic, a first for Marvel Rivals. This allows him to heal himself as he damages enemies, making him a tough opponent to take down. Here’s a look at some of his key abilities:
- Bloodline Awakening: This is his signature lifesteal ability. When activated, Blade will heal for a portion of the damage he deals.
- Ancestral Sword and Hunter's Shotgun: Blade's primary weapons. He can slash at enemies with his sword for single or double strikes and use his shotgun for ranged attacks.
- Daywalker Dash: Blade has two charges of this dash ability, allowing him to quickly close the distance to his enemies or escape from danger.
- Ultimate: Blade's ultimate ability applies an anti-healing effect to enemies, making them easier to finish off.
I was playing a match the other day and got absolutely wrecked by an enemy team with a good Blade player. He was constantly in my face, and I just couldn't seem to get away from him. His lifesteal made him feel impossible to kill. It was frustrating, but it also made me want to get better at playing as him.
With Blade’s addition, the number of heroes in the game is constantly growing. It can be tough to keep track of them all. If you want to see a full list of all the heroes in the game, check out our post on how many characters are in Marvel Rivals.
