How to Beat Amius Raid Shadow Legends

Amius, the Lunar Archon, is a tough boss in Raid: Shadow Legends, but definitely beatable. The key to taking down this celestial pain is to focus on a few key abilities: Decrease Attack, Heal Reduction, and some form of protection for your team like Taunt, Veil, or Ally Protection. I remember the first time I faced Amius, I went in with a team full of my heaviest hitters and got absolutely wrecked because I didn't have the right debuffs.
To beat Amius, you need to deal a hefty amount of damage, around 3.4 million, against a very high defense. This means you can't just brute force your way through. Instead, you need a smart strategy. The short answer is to bring champions that can apply Decrease Attack and Heal Reduction. These are not just helpful; they are essential.
Beating Amius: A Step-by-Step Guide
Here’s a breakdown of what you need to do to defeat Amius:
- Decrease Attack is Your Best Friend: Amius hits like a truck. A champion with a consistent Decrease Attack debuff will make the fight much more manageable. I have a Stag Knight that I pretty much bring to every boss fight, and he was a lifesaver against Amius. His ability to consistently keep the Decrease Attack debuff on the boss made a world of difference.
- Stop the Healing: Amius has a nasty habit of healing, which can undo all your hard work. A Heal Reduction debuff is crucial to prevent this. Without it, the fight can feel like you're running on a treadmill, getting nowhere.
- Protect Your Team: Even with Decrease Attack, Amius can still dish out a lot of damage. Champions with Taunt, Veil, or Ally Protection can help keep your more fragile champions alive. I didn’t have a great Ally Protection champion at first, so I used a champion with a Veil ability to keep my main damage dealer safe.
- Sustain is Key: This is a long fight, so you'll need a good healer or two to keep your team topped up. Don't underestimate the importance of staying alive. A dead team does zero damage.

Facing Amius can be a real challenge, but with the right team and strategy, you can come out on top. Don't get discouraged if you don't beat him on your first try. It took me a few attempts and some champion re-gearing to finally get it right.
