Can Xbox and Pc Play Elden Ring Together?

Elden Ring is a fantastic game, but if you're wondering whether you can play with your friends on different platforms, the answer is a bit complicated. The short answer is no, Elden Ring does not support cross-platform play between Xbox and PC. This means that if you're playing on an Xbox, you can't join up with your friends who are playing on a computer.
My friend and I were so excited to play Elden Ring together. I have an Xbox, and he has a powerful gaming PC.
