Where to Find Earth Sprite in Fortnite?

Have you ever been wandering through the Fortnite island and stumbled upon something totally unexpected? It’s one of my favorite parts of the game - finding little secrets Epic Games has hidden for us. If you’ve heard whispers about mysterious “Earth Sprites,” you’re in the right place to find out exactly where to find them and what they do.
So, what are Earth Sprites? Simply put, they are rare, friendly little creatures that hide around the island. If you find one, you can trade a weapon with it to get some awesome loot in return. Only two of these sprites spawn in any given match, making them a pretty rare and lucky find.
Where to Find Earth Sprites
Finding these little guys can be tricky since their exact location is random, but they always appear in one of five general areas. Your best bet is to land near these spots and keep your eyes peeled.
Here are the locations where Earth Sprites can spawn:
- Stealthy Stronghold: Check around the ancient ruins and dense jungle areas.
- Weeping Woods: They often appear near the base of the giant trees or close to the river.
- Colossal Crops: Search around the edges of the farm, particularly near the patches of trees.
- Hunter's Haven: Look around the different houses and buildings in this named location.
- Near The Spire: They can sometimes be found wandering near the smaller Guardian Spires that branch off from the main one.
I remember the first time I found an Earth Sprite. I was rotating out of Weeping Woods and saw this little glowing creature. My first instinct was to shoot it, but it just stared at me. I cautiously walked up to it and realized I could interact with it. I dropped my common pistol, and it gave me a purple SMG in return! It was a game-changer that helped me and my squad get the victory royale.
What to Do When You Find One
Once you spot an Earth Sprite, don't attack it! They are friendly. To interact with it, you just need to drop a weapon from your inventory in front of it. The sprite will pick up the weapon and then drop a different, often much better, weapon or item for you.
My friend had a hilarious experience with one near Stealthy Stronghold. He was feeling cheeky and decided to drop a gray SMG, hoping for a legendary rocket launcher. The little sprite took his gun and dropped a bundle of bananas in its place. We couldn't stop laughing about it for the rest of the match. It's a good reminder that the loot you get is completely random, which is part of the fun.
Hunting for Earth Sprites adds a whole new layer of adventure to the game.
