Are you having a tough time finding the optional boss, Clea, in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33? You're not alone. I remember spending a good hour just trying to figure out where she was hiding! It turns out, she’s tucked away in a pretty clever spot.

Clea is located in the Flying Manor area of the game. You'll find her behind a locked door that requires you to defeat four other minibosses in the area to open.

Finding Clea's Lair

Getting to Clea is a bit of a mini-quest in itself. Here’s a breakdown of what you need to do:

• Progress Through the Story: First things first, you need to have reached the Flying Manor as part of the main storyline.
• Locate the Locked Door: As you explore the manor, you'll come across a large, locked door across a chasm from the Plaza. This is where Clea is waiting.
• Defeat the Four Minibosses: To unlock this door, you need to find and defeat the four minibosses scattered throughout the Flying Manor. I got stuck on the third one for a while, it was a real test of my parrying skills! Keep an eye out for them as you explore; they aren't too hard to find if you're thorough.
• Enter the Boss Room: Once all four minibosses are defeated, the door will unlock, and you can finally face Clea.

Beating Clea

One quick tip from my own experience: she's weak against Void damage, so make sure to bring Maelle into the fight. My first attempt without her was a disaster; I barely made a dent in Clea's health.
