Facing off against the robotic Automaton faction in Helldivers 2 can be a real challenge. Their relentless assault and variety of units can overwhelm even the most seasoned players. Where to Find Troopers

As mentioned, Troopers are found on planets occupied by the Automaton faction, which are located in the red zones on the western side of the galactic map. I remember one time, my squad and I spent what felt like an eternity on Malevelon Creek, specifically hunting for Troopers to complete a challenge. How to Kill Troopers

While Troopers might be the most common enemy, they come in a few different flavors. Here's a quick rundown of the different types of Troopers and how to best deal with them:

• Standard Trooper: These are the most basic version, armed with a laser rifle. They're not very durable and can be taken down with a few well-aimed shots from your primary weapon.
• Assault Trooper: These are a bit more aggressive and will try to close the distance to you. They're also a bit tougher than the standard Trooper, so aim for the head to take them down quickly.
• Rocket Trooper: These guys are the real nuisance. They carry a rocket launcher that can deal significant damage and stagger you, leaving you vulnerable to other attacks. I learned the hard way that you have to prioritize these guys as soon as you see them. A well-placed shot from a distance with a precision weapon is your best bet.

A good strategy for dealing with large groups of Troopers is to use area-of-effect weapons and stratagems. The Eagle Cluster Bomb is particularly effective at clearing out swarms of them.
