How to Get Wyrdeer in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Getting your hands on a Wyrdeer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus isn't as simple as just finding one in the wild. You'll actually need to evolve it from a Stantler. But don't worry, the process is pretty straightforward once you know what to do.

To get a Wyrdeer, you need to have your Stantler use the move "Psyshield Bash" in Agile Style 20 times. Once you've done that, your Stantler will be ready to evolve into the majestic Wyrdeer. It's a unique evolution method that really fits the ancient Hisui region setting.

Finding and Evolving Stantler

First things first, you need to catch a Stantler. You can find them in the Obsidian Fieldlands, specifically in the Deertrack Heights area. They're not too hard to find, but they can be a bit skittish, so be sure to sneak up on them. I remember spending a good half hour trying to catch my first Stantler because I kept scaring it away. I finally managed to catch it by hiding in the tall grass and throwing a Great Ball when it wasn't looking.

Once you have your Stantler, the next step is to level it up to level 21, which is when it learns Psyshield Bash. After it learns the move, you need to use it 20 times in Agile Style. I found the easiest way to do this was to just get into battles with weaker Pokémon and spam the move. It took a little while, but it was worth it to see my Stantler finally evolve. Wyrdeer is a great Pokémon to have on your team. It's a Normal/Psychic-type, which is a pretty cool combination, and it has some decent stats. Plus, you can ride it, which is a fantastic way to get around the Hisui region.
