Pokémon Legends: Arceus is filled with powerful and mysterious Pokémon, but none are quite as intimidating as Giratina. This legendary ghost/dragon type is a fan favorite, and for good reason. It's incredibly powerful and has a unique design that sets it apart from other Pokémon. But how do you actually get Giratina in the game?

To put it simply, you'll need to complete the main story and then defeat Volo and Giratina in a challenging battle. After that, you'll be able to accept "Request 91: On the Trail of Giratina," which will lead you to Turnback Cave in the Cobalt Coastlands where you can finally catch Giratina. It's a bit of a process, but it's well worth it to add this legendary Pokémon to your team. I remember the first time I faced Volo and his team. I was so excited to finally be at the end of the main story, but I was not prepared for the battle that was about to unfold. Volo's team is incredibly strong, and he uses a variety of Pokémon that can be difficult to counter. I had to try a few times before I was finally able to defeat him, and the sense of accomplishment I felt was amazing.

Catching Giratina

After you've defeated Volo and completed the main story, you'll be able to accept "Request 91: On the Trail of Giratina." This request will take you to the Cobalt Coastlands, where you'll need to find Turnback Cave. The cave is located in the northwestern corner of the map, and it's not too difficult to find. Once you're inside, you'll find Giratina waiting for you.

The battle with Giratina is not as difficult as the battle with Volo, but it's still a challenge. Giratina is a high-level Pokémon, so you'll need to make sure your team is prepared. I used a team of Pokémon that were all level 70 or higher, and I still had a bit of a tough time. I recommend bringing plenty of ultra balls and revives, as you'll likely need them. After a long and difficult battle, I was finally able to catch Giratina. It was a great feeling to finally have this legendary Pokémon on my team, and I've been using it in battles ever since.
