How to Fuse in Raid Shadow Legends

Fusing champions in Raid: Shadow Legends is a fantastic way to get some of the most powerful characters in the game without relying purely on luck from pulling shards. It’s a process where you combine several specific, weaker champions to create a much stronger one. Think of it like a recipe: get the right ingredients, prepare them, and you get a top-tier champion as your reward.
So, how do you actually do it? The short answer is you go to the Summoning Portal, tap the Fusion tab, and see which champions are available to be fused. You'll then need to gather, level up, and ascend the required champions to complete the fusion.
Your Step-by-Step Guide to Fusing
Fusing might seem complicated at first, but it's pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. I remember the first time I went for a fusion champion, a Legendary hero named Rotos the Lost Groom. The grind was intense! I spent weeks farming potions to ascend the required Rare and Epic champions, and leveling them up in the campaign felt like it took forever. But the moment I finally had all the pieces and hit that "Fuse" button, it was totally worth it. Rotos became the star of my arena team for months.
There are two main types of fusions you'll come across:
1. Traditional Fusion
This is the classic method. To fuse a champion this way, you need:
- Specific Champions: The game will show you exactly which champions you need. Usually, you'll need four specific Epic champions to fuse a Legendary, and you'll need to fuse those Epics from a list of specific Rare champions.
- Levelling and Ranking: You have to level up the required champions to a certain rank and level. For example, to fuse an Epic, you'll often need four Rare champions at Rank 4, Level 40.
- Ascension: On top of leveling, you also need to ascend the required champions to a specific level using potions from the various potion keeps.
Once you have all the required champions at the correct level, rank, and ascension, you just place them in the slots in the Fusion screen and get your new champion!
2. Fragment Fusion
This is a newer, and in my opinion, slightly less stressful method. Instead of collecting whole champions, you collect fragments of the champion you want to fuse.
- Collect Fragments: You earn these fragments by completing events and winning tournaments. Typically, you need 100 fragments to summon the Legendary champion.
- Summon: Once you have all 100 fragments, you just go to the Fusion tab and summon your new champion. No need to level or ascend anyone beforehand!
Right now, I'm working on the current fragment fusion event. I'm at 85 fragments and just need to push through the last couple of events to get the final 15. It's a bit of a marathon, but seeing that fragment count go up is super motivating. With so many champions in Raid: Shadow Legends, fusions are a great way to guarantee you get a specific, powerful one.
Farming all the potions and leveling up champions for fusion can take a lot of energy and resources. If you find yourself needing to make some in-app purchases for energy packs or silver, remember you can use Playstorm! By playing fun games on the app, you can earn gems and redeem them for Google Play or Apple App Store gift cards, making that fusion grind a little bit easier.
