• Keep him burning: Applying burn damage is a great way to chip away at his health. It also allows your healer, Verso, to heal while attacking.
• Don't get greedy: Get in a few hits after a successful parry, then back off. If you get too greedy, he'll punish you for it.

Phase 2: The Rage

• He's enraged: When Renoir's health gets low, he'll become enraged and his attacks will do more damage. Be prepared to take some heavy hits.
• Unleash your Gradient Attacks: Now is the time to use your most powerful attacks. Gradient Attacks will melt his health bar and bring the fight to a swift end.
• Watch out for the petals: At around 50% health, he'll summon two "petals" that will heal him if you don't destroy them quickly. I remember the first time I saw him do this, I ignored them and he healed back to full health. It was so frustrating! I learned my lesson and now I always take out the petals as soon as they appear. Phase 3: The Chroma

• Listen for the cues: In the final phase, Renoir will summon a wave of Chroma that will damage your entire party. There's an audio cue before each attack, so listen carefully and be prepared to dodge.

• Finish him off: Once the Chroma wave is over, Renoir will be vulnerable. This is your chance to finish him off for good.
