How Many Maps in Arc Raiders?

Arc Raiders is a new squad-based shooter that has been getting a lot of attention. One of the biggest questions people have is about the maps. How many are there? Are they any good? Let's take a look at what we know so far.
Right now, Arc Raiders has four maps available to play. There are plans for a fifth map, called Stella Montis, to be released soon. I’ve had a chance to play on all the current maps, and they each offer a pretty different experience.
The Maps
Here is a quick rundown of the maps you can expect to find in Arc Raiders:
- Dam Battlegrounds: This was the first map I ever played in Arc Raiders. It's a great starting point, with a good mix of open spaces and close-quarters combat. I remember my squad and I got pinned down by an enemy team near the central dam. We had to use a lot of teamwork and smoke grenades to get out of that sticky situation.
- Buried City: This map is set in a desert and has a lot of verticality. There are tall buildings to snipe from and underground tunnels to sneak through. It's a fun map for players who like to be sneaky and strategic.
- The Spaceport: This map is all about close-quarters combat. It's set in a massive spaceport with lots of tight corridors and small rooms. My squad once had a frantic firefight in one of the hangars that lasted for what felt like an eternity. It was intense!
- Blue Gate: This is a more open map with rolling hills and scattered buildings. It's great for long-range fights and flanking maneuvers. I find this map to be the most visually appealing of the bunch.
- Stella Montis: We don’t know much about this map yet, other than it’s coming soon. The name suggests it might be a mountainous area, which would be a cool addition to the game. You can check out our article on "What is Arc Raiders About?" to learn more about the game's lore and what to expect.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the number of maps in Arc Raiders so far. Each one feels unique and offers a different kind of challenge. I'm excited to see what the developers have in store for us with Stella Montis and future map releases.
