You can get these items by calling bingo, opening treasure chests, and trading with other players. Once you complete the collection, you get to move on to the next city on your world tour. I had a bit of a tough time finding the last item for the New Orleans collection. I played for days and just couldn't seem to get it. I finally had to trade with a friend to complete the collection and move on. It was a bit frustrating, but it made finally unlocking Buenos Aires feel even more rewarding.
